Lifetime WNBA Minnesota Lynx 44" Portable Basketball Hoop with Wheels - 7.5 to 10 Ft Adjustable Height

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure, I was sent this hoop and asked to write an honest review. I think this is a great basketball hoop for kids. My kids are not avid ball players but they have enjoyed playing basketball with this hoop since we got it assembled. Assembly was fairly straightforward. Watching the videos helped a lot with assembly. My 13 year old daughter was able to do a lot of the assembly by herself with supervision. There were a couple times that holes did not line up perfectly and it took a little more work to get the screws in place. Overall I would say assembly was pretty simple and took about 2-2.5 hours. The hoop is pretty stable once the base is filled. We filled ours with water because that is what we had on hand, but will probably change it out to sand later because we live where the temperatures get cold and the kids want to be able to use the hoop when weather allows. Adjusting the height of the hoop was fairly easy. I wouldn't say it was the easiest hoop to adjust the height on but it wasn't too difficult. When filled with water it was a little more difficult to move the hoop around, younger kids would definitely need an adult's help to move the hoop. While playing a game I felt the rebound of the hoop was as expected. When bouncing off the backboard the ball came back in the direction you would expect when the shot was missed. When aiming your shots off the backboard you seemed pretty accurate. The rim seems to be very sturdy. My 13 year old tried to dunk the ball and the rim held up as expected, didn't notice any bend. Overall I feel that this is a great basketball hoop for beginner and even intermediate players. It definitely isn't a top of the line hoop but it is a great starter hoop and is a great value for the price. The parts seem sturdy and made of good quality materials. I think this hoop will last a long time and will be a great addition to the backyard for my kids.

The assembly is relatively easy to complete with just one adult. The function for height adjustment is great, but would be better if able to be down lower to the ground to help accommodate shorter people who wish to lower the loop height. Overall a great addition to any basketball player’s home.
