This kit is too complicated for the age range stated on the box. Beginner age should be 10 . Not 7 . The supplied blunt embroidery needle eyelet is too small to easily accommodate the instructions to use three strands of floss. The length of the needle is too short for the small, inexperienced hands/ fingers of a 7 year old to hold onto while learning the basics of making a cross stitch.
