Drake Waterfowl Men's Reflex 3-in-1 plus 2 Systems Jacket

This jacket is the first "not cheap" one I've ever bought. I don't get cold easily so I never cared much, but I busted the zipper on my old Academy special and caught this one on a good sale. I don't know what kind of voodoo magic they got going on with this thing, but it's awesome. It was 10 degrees with a good wind last night when I took the dog out. All I had on under it was a t-shirt. I wasn't cold at all. The part I don't understand is that I can wear that same jacket inside the house and not sweat my butt off. Not sure how it works, but I'm really happy with it. It isn't bulky at all. It also has a ton of pockets, which I really like. The hand warmer pockets up high are gonna be great for hunting in waders. The ones on the front bottom will easily hold a box of shells each. The built in neck gaiter is pretty nice too.

I bought a XL coat fits perfectly. I really like the ease in which you can change up the coat, from full on to just a vest. Pockets , pockets and more pockets. Love this for hunting. I would add here that the pockets should have shotgun shell holders, after all its primary purpose is a duck/ goose hunting coat. The zippers all appear to work well. Although I prefer larger tooth zippers. The main zipper of the coat should be a 2 way zipper. Not sure why all hunting coats do not have this. The hand warming pockets are excellent as is the attachable gator. Very soft yet warm fleece. Very comfortable. The neck of the coat also has that same fleece, which I find very nice addition. The wrist and waist closures are comfortable and help keep wind out. I wore it once so far in a snow storm. I was warm, and dry. Plus didn't feel the wind. One of the best coats I've seen on the market in a long time.
