Montana Cans Acrylic Paint Marker, 15mm, Standard Nib, Shock Lilac

I got these because I was making a lot of smaller paintings and I wanted to get the underdrawings done quickly. I got White and Brown Dark. Pros: lots of color, lots of paint within the marker, reasonably opaque (sometimes it takes two coats though). Cons: If you go over these with another water-based paint, the marker paint will bleed. This is the main downside because I did not want that to happen. Another con: a lot of condensation (about a quarter teaspoon of water) builds up in the marker under the cap, and you have to be careful about opening the marker or else the condensation and a little pigment will drop on whatever surfaces you are near. Additional details: these markers are flat matte. The dark brown often dries to a slightly lighter and chalkier color than when wet. Verdict: good for art-related projects that do not include a lot of handling (would rub off the paint). Don't get this if you're trying to write labels on outdoor items or on bins that you will be handling.
