I don't know if the taste has been revised after other customers' complaint, but this is my first time and I find the chewables to be simply fine to chew and swallow. You can drink water after id its bottomsome to you. No bad taste. Afer all, it's not candy, so I don't expect it to taste like candy. It is just simply easy to chew, and swallow and the taste is a simple, yet, a mildly delightful citrus taste and texture. I took two so far and two days has passed. I'll see if it does anything for my vitamin deficiency which I think contributed to my increase/abnormal hair shedding. I'm also going back to my iodized salt but by xion this time. No dextrose iodized salt. I have to avoid corn and corn derivative ingredients. That's why I like this clearly says "tapioca maltodextrin.". Which clearly means it's NOT corn derivative. I Will also do crispy seaweed by gimme and I enjoy those with real plain cheese by kerigold and a raddish red bell pepper and garlic paste with a little salt and cayenne pepper; good super food snack. All this in conjunction, really should help my hair shedding because I am now aware I've been lacking in these vitamins. I try to focus on good health from the inside out. I no longer drink coffee. I drink lots of water and focus on grapefruit juice and grassfed meats. Fresh grapefruit cut in four with redmonds real salt sprinkled on top is just delightful No pork. See what you should be eating for your blood type if you're interested. I refrain from pork due to my blood type. I stopped eating pork years ago anyway. It didn't work well for my health. Now I see it was a good idea I refrained from pork. I highly recommend this vitamin D since it's a certified organic whole food. I don't think you'd see dextrose or maltodextrin on the label since it claims certified organic. But it clearly says 'tapioca maltodextrin.". Tapioca is natural cassava flour which is a natural thickener in it's powder form. I enjoy this and I hope I can stick with it if it works. Eating well takes lots of prayers, research, hard work, and dedication....just like a friendship or a marriage.
