Fast and Furious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 weeks ago because I'm teaching with a lot of remote learners and needed to manage multiple videoconferencing sessions with 10s+ students in each of them simultaneously. My old laptop wasn't up to it, but this one is! I leaned toward the gaming configuration, even though I generally game on my counsel and not my laptop, but enjoy the performance configuration.

Above all others

Absolutely "LOVE IT" Extremely fast out of the box, easy to setup, this is the first computer I have bought that I have left all the OEM software on it. Runs Fallout 4 flawless on maxed out settings, Also great to run Farming Simulator 19 on also maxed out settings. Over 15gb of mods loads quickly, Boot time is about 15 secs not bad for stock. Love the GTX 1650 graphics card much better then the 1050ti 4gb I used to have. I have since added an additional 240gb ssd as well as I have also added another 8gb ram bringing it to 16gb. Was going to replace the 256gb M.2 drive they had installed but it was speedy enough at least for me much faster then even a standard ssd. Love the display good and clear graphics for a 60hz display but I haven't noticed any tearing. I love the fact that I can choose the color of my keyboard, instead of them choosing it for me. Runs extremely cool even under load I have seen no reason to add a cooling pad. Comes with 30day of McAfee AV which is nice but for the price of the laptop I think they could give a years worth. But it really is no biggie since most have their own preference especially us gamer's. Overall I am "VERY HAPPY" with my laptop and don't have one complaint about it. "GREAT" Job Asus premio products for a working man's price.

Very nice design

hello everyone, i have FX505GT with i7 9750h, GTX 1650. it came with Hynix 8GB of ram, and i'm planning to upgrade with another DDR4 2666 16 GB of ram. now, what is the compatibility limitations, what RAM vendors can i trust to use with this laptop. also, since having 2 different memory sizes mixed(8 and 16), will i still be able to benefit dual memory channel ( or flex ) at least on the matched 16 GB or ram ?
