This WAS a god send for this high density foam mattress.  The bed feels totally different. Finally something that works.  It shows you how important a box Spring foundation or form is needed with a foam mattress on a metal platform bed. And so compact and light weight. Very well made. The 2 panels weighs only 15 lbs. and my girlfriend's and I, all in our 60s., laid the panels right onto the metal bed frame, they fit inside my queen metal slatted bed, perfectly. No fuss or adjustments. Will get for another day bed in my home. Now that expensive foam mattress feels SO much more supportive. Adds 1.5 inches in height. Fully covered grey fabric esthetically is pleasing. Even my dog is snoring again.

I bought one of those mattresses in a box for my all metal slat bed. I was unable to sleep with the mattress directly on the metal slats. I was asked about getting this bunkie board. I must say that it works perfectly! I have a firm 6 inch mattress and this board gives it just the right support.
