I bought this to fix our 2012 Mini. I wasn't sure if the problem was in the sensor or the thermostat itself. The car had been repaired before by a previous owner and it had a secondary sensor installed. I used the sensor from the new part and got everything fixed up without having to replace the whole housing.

Quality part for a great price

The thermostat housing is a known issue on Mini Coopers and this part was a perfect fit. It arrived quickly and installed without any issues. Needless to say the dealer wanted quite a bit more for the same part. This appears to be well built and hopefully it lasts.
