I was disappointed from the moment this package arrived. The item packaging itself looked incredibly cheap—it immediately reminded me of something you'd find at a dollar store. It feels exactly like the plastic you'd find in a Barbie playset or a child's toy. It's thin, lightweight in a "cheap" way, and definitely does not feel like a professional or even a standard-grade grooming tool. Performance The performance was just as frustrating as the build: The Scissors: These were the worst part. Instead of giving a clean snip, they grabbed and pulled at my hair, which was quite painful. Dull Sharpness!! The Thinning Shears: These are "okay" at best, but only if you have very thin hair to begin with. If you have thick hair or a lot of volume that you're trying to manage, these will not get the job done. Verdict I would not recommend this set to anyone looking for even basic quality. The only reason to buy these is if you are in a major jam, need something immediately, and have no other options. Otherwise, save your money and invest in a set that feels like it's actually made for human hair. and the comb accessories also felt like toy quality!
