It seems inaccurate in the 30-60 pound range which is where I needed it most. The needle is also a bit far from the gauge so it's hard to tell exactly where it is if you're at a slightly different angle. This means that two different height people might get two different readings. I've calibrated it the best I can. I'd probably opt for digital next time around. I've instead been using a bathroom scale to hold the item, then not hold the item and do the math.
