The first one came off and was damaged by my dog. They replaced it. The second one came off and was lost. So I ordered a screen protector because I couldn't manage to keep the cover/ protector. But I found it and haven't lost it again. I bought a second iPhone 17 and bought a case and a regular screen protector. My wife got a new iPad and I bought her a case and screen protector as well.
