wish the barrel could be bigger because as an 8 yrs old my son is taller than anybody on his team so he needs a longer bat but still needs a 2 5/8" barrel. I knew this before buying so I won't lower any stars. great low weight to it. very great for my 8 yrs old 4'7" son. perfect grip is perfect too

my kid hits the crap out of the ball with this bat. he plays for an 8u coach pitch team, and he's not the best player, but he makes solid contact and gets on base. this bat is good for his current league, and it'll be good next year in the league above. good bat.
