We are not quite sure if the chickens Are going to like this kind of new bedding, what time will tell tomorrow morning we can check to see if they slept on it. It's kind of plastic filling not the typical Hay material. That is normally used but see how the chickens proceed.

Quail loved them.

I got these for my quail. Their coop has wire flooring which isn't the most comfortable on their feet, I assume. I put these up and they immediately loved them. They started treating it like it was grass, scratching it with their feet. They seem to prefer being on this mats instead of the wire. I like being able to give them a comfortable place for them to relax, and hopefully lay some eggs in the near future. I also put one under their feeder to catch some of the feed and not let it go to waste. I've had no issues with the mats and have had them up for a couple of weeks now. The mats are easily washable, I use a water nozzle to spray them clean. Overall happy with these mats and do recommend them.
