I have been very impressed with this case. I initially bought it just to get something on my iPad right away with the thoughts to get something a little more heavy duty later. It has the raised edges and extra “padding” on the corners that gives it the little extra it needs. But, with just using it around the house and no travel, this case has been great so far. With that said, I do not have any small children that use it, so i don't know if that would change my mind.
