Way better looking online

I purchased the gray bed king size. The color was horrible. It was more army green-grey. Not very pretty with its gold trim accents. The side tables are vinyl padded. So if something sits on it, there's an indentation left. And not to mention the bed is very low. My ceilings are 10 ft and the bed looked lost in the room. Also, beware of the mattressthickness needed. It requires you to have 12 inch or more mattress to fill space between headboard and bed base. The bed rails sit literally on the ground. There is no room under bed for anything and we seemed to keep running our feet into the rails. Making it difficult to make the bed too. Assembly was very long and tedious. So many pieces for the platform and rails. And the bed came in 2 very heavy boxes. Make sure to read ahead on the instructions or you'll be disassembling and starting over. You must have Atleast 2 people for assembly as the headboard pieces are awkward for just one person to hold and screw together.
