DECK WHEEL ROLLER
Deck wheel Rollers are small wheels located on the front of your lawnmower. When installed, they should be at least 1/2 Inch above the ground, and should only come into contact with the lawn when mowing uneven parts. This is to prevent your front deck from hitting the ground when going over bumps. These wheels can be made of varying materials, sizes, and shapes, so make sure your front deck wheel fits your desired tire tread!
Lawnmower Tread Patterns:
Turf - Most common for residential lawnmowers.
Smooth - No tread pattern grooves. Little traction. Tight Turns.
Lug - Heavy Duty use. Designed for tall grass. Deep groove patterns.
Ribbed - Straight, shallow rib pattern. Better grip. Good for wet terrain. Usually for commercial use.
