Apollo 70LF-100 Series Bronze Ball Valve, Potable Water Service, Two Piece, Inline, Lever, 3/4" NPT Female CA2

The Apollo 70LF-100 series two-piece inline ball valve for potable water service is made of bronze and has a lever-handle and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections on both ends. This valve meets CA AB 1953 and VT S.152 for lead free quality assurance and use with potable water. It is made of bronze for higher strength and corrosion resistance than brass and has a zinc-plated steel lever handle with a vinyl sleeve for manual on/off control. The maximum pressure is 600 pounds per square inch (gauge) (psig) for cold working pressure (CWP) and 150 psig forsteam working pressure (SWP). The valve is inline for connecting two pipes going in the same direction and has NPT threads on both ends for creating tighter seals than straight threads. Reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (RPTFE) seats and stem packing reduce the risk of valve leakage. This ball valve is standard (or regular) port for reduced valve size and cost and has a working temperature range of -20 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This valve is used in plumbing and heating applications. It meets standards MSS SP-110 and ANSI/NSF 61 and is registered under CSA B51 (CRN: OC10908.5C) for quality assurance.Ball valves use a spherical disc to control the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses.
