Especially considering the price, these are very sturdy and nice. The only slight downside was how long they took me to assemble, a whole afternoon, but definitely worth the effort. Given the price point I was worried the drawer or door would end up askew or loose but they aren't. The drawer glides like butter and the door is perfectly straight. The color shown in the photos is accurate.

Sturdy well engineered inexpensive night stands

Once I figured out how to assemble the first one, the second one was easy. I used a power drill to speed up the assembly process. All the screws and pieces fit together very precisely. If you have never assembled furniture before, then this might be challenging. I am very happy with this purchase. These are very sturdy and the drawers work well. I purchased a matching dresser with the same gold knobs. Height is even with the mattress on my platform bed.
