It arrived broken on one side but still operable. It isn't designed to cut small pills, which is why most people need one of theses. The blade only hits about halfway and the result is the pill is either deflected and not cut, or it's crumbled to bits. Walmart used to sell one that looked very similar to this that worked great. This definitely is not it.
