I only gave this a three-star because we're going to have to contact Walmart for a return, we received the shipment my husband noticed the Box looking like it had been retaped and then when he took the ramp out of the box he noticed it was bent, myself I had not seen it yet but according to him it looked as if it had been used %26 returned?? we actually have purchased one pretty much just like this except it was a 3-ft and seen that we can get by with a four/four and a half to 5 ft so we have already established that with a possibility to return it for a longer ramp but it definitely will be going back now even if we decide to stay with the same four ft. %26 will return it and consider repurchasing it. so that said, this is actually the second ramp we have purchased of a different size but the other one came to us bent also and the package retaped so apparently it was a return also but just for the record it was from a different retailer and not Walmart but we unfortunately will have to exchange or return this one also! honestly I don't know what's happening because it's seeming like two different ramps with the same issue that come from different companies but maybe the people who have them somehow damages ramp and returns it and maybe the retailers are not catching it as a damaged item. I don't know?? my review will be to suggest anyone who buys a ramp and wherever they buy it whether Walmart or other retailers to really look over your item when you receive it weather a ramp or something else to make sure it wasn't a return and resold item. The actual first thing you could look for is when you receive your package notice how it is taped, if it looks like new product taping or a retaped up box then look over your item when you open the box and in a manner to make sure your item is new or looks used and and then resold as a new I'm not saying exactly that was the whole deal here or not but I know what we have dealt with in the past and I know how this came to us once again from a different company and then a different retailer that sold it but apparently it was the same issue once again and we were just returning the other and purchasing a ramp from Walmart but unfortunately I lll have to contact them to take it back i hopes to get a different one! so in essence the ramp as a whole I couldn't really review but if you're looking for one that feels durable sturdy and that will hold heavyweight of a chair / person..... look for one like this aluminum and maximum weight light with this one max weight is 800 lb! do your due diligence in checking whatever out you purchase from wherever you purchase always!
