The natural unglazed interior produces a bread with a perfect texture – a light interior crumb surrounded by a crackly crust – and the domed shape promotes even circular baking. The La Cloche base can be used to make pies with a flaky crust and pizza with an extra crispy crust. Don’t be fooled by imitators! Our Superstone La Cloche is the ORIGINAL and the BEST stoneware bread baker on the market!
The La Cloche comes with a recipe booklet as well as use and care instructions. It is fired at over 2100°F so it can handle a high-heat oven, but avoid a direct flame.
