I had high hopes for this dress. I had planned to wear it to an upcoming 'Boots on the Ground' bridal shower, but, unfortunately, I retuned it. On the model, this was a stunning, sweeping maxi; on me (at 5'7"), it awkwardly hit right at mid-calf. Beyond the length issue, the fabric quality simply wasn't there. It felt thin and lacked the 'substance' and movement I expected. When I invest in a piece, I'm looking for quality construction that holds up—not something that feels flimsy.
