There were a lot of pieces to put together but the process went smoothly I feel. Instructions were clear and everything needed was included in the box. So I gave assembly 4 stars. My complaints center around the look and quality of the product. The product stated in the description that there was glass in the front door with plastic on the two side panels. All three are plastic in the unit I got and it looks like it. (Cheap) Simply put, I would not have bought this if it had been correctly described as having a plastic door and not glass. Also, the finish on one of the two drawers is marred right in the front where all can see it. I think it was damaged in transit, which is hard to blame the factory. But still, it looks bad. There were a couple of other damaged spots but I successfully hid those in low visibility areas as I assembled the unit. To sum up: this is the first time I bought anything furniture oriented online and it may be my last. The unit does NOT look like the online picture and some of the listed features were not on the unit I bought. In person, I would have seen the differences and walked away. This unit hid its true look until after I invested hours into putting it together. Now it is too late. I'm stuck with it.
