New Sportsman Pellet Smoker
Well packaged, strongly built, easy to put together. First use was for a couple pork butts for pulled pork. Turned out absolutely wonderful. Second use was for a dozen fresh hamburgers. Simplest was to do burgers, no worries about grease fires or having to watch them constantly. My previous smokers were wood, charcoal, and propane fired. Once I am a little more comfortable with the pellets and the settings my time will free up. I just kinda watched the first couple times and the smoke came in at the appropriate intervals and also on time with the “prime” function. Overall, really cool, and I can see through the door as a bonus!

Number one pit boss fan
I purchased my first pit boss smoker a pit boss five vertical December 2019. I have used it almost every weekend since it has given me quite reliable service and I was 100% satisfied after inspecting it last week I seen it needed a few upgrades and chose to just buy another one. I have received the pit boss five sportsman just finished putting it together and I'm doing the burnout now what I've found is although I was 100% satisfied with my pit boss five I can see that pit boss didn't rest on its laurels and has significantly revised and improved. Can't wait to throw some beef back ribs on it tomorrow thank you pit boss I'm your number one fan.
