There is plenty of room for a large dog even an extra large dog. Snapped right together in seconds. I put a blanket in it and she went right in. I purchased it to keep in the garage so if she wants to go in and out she has somewhere warm to lay down. I have had it about 2 weeks and do not for see any concerns. She like enough that I find she's wanting to go out more but just to go lay in her dog house.

Wow, didn't think buying a good sized dog house would be such a pain! Scoured other online retailers as well as local. Found one on Wal-Mart that was large and a good price/ equivalent to best price I could find anywhere else. Put it in the back of my mind but when I finally decided, it was no longer available. Few days later this one was advertised on their site. Guess things happen for a reason because this one was cheaper, maybe even nicer and is the perfect size for our "old lady" 15 yr old golden/mix. Very sturdy and well built. Shipped and arrived at our doorstep very quickly too! Couldn't be happier.
