Exactly what we were looking for

THese chairs stained well. We used minwax dark walnut and a rub on satin varnish. Assembly was simple and the chairs seem strong and sturdy. They are exactly what we looking for to go with our World Market Monroe table. The only thing I wish were different would be the seat height. An extra 1/2 inch seat height would be nice. Maybe I can find thick chair leg felt pieces to raise it just slightly? Also to note are some glue spots on the wood that needed to be sanded off or the stain wouldn't take. There were a few glue spots that couldn't be removed.

Very well constructed out of solid wood, not pieced together from a dozen tiny segments like some furniture. Comes sanded, ready for assembly a final light sanding and finish
