NO. Just distressed art paper covered on the wood clock dial that looks like metal worn out effect.

What battery does it require?
The wall clock needs 1 AA battery only (Not included). Better uses 1 AA Carbon Zinc battery as the current of Alkaline battery is too big & easy to damage quartz movement and accuracy.

Why this clock has scratches and stains on the dial ?
