[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew these would be nice shoes; DKNY isn't a generic brand, but WOW, are these top notch! Right away, I was greeting by that smell of brand new leather/suede before I even had the tissue paper peeled back. Once I did, perfection. I didn't realize when I picked them that they have side zippers so this was an unexpected bonus. You can get the laces just where you need them for that supreme fit while using the zipper to get your foot in with disturbing them. I love the little metal plate at the heel. Some of us love to press down on our heels with the other foot to nudge it off of our feet at the end of the day so I found that immediately a thoughtful design. Functional but looks just fashionable enough to be purely decoration as well. The bottom soles are plenty comfortable but not so overly contoured that you can't enjoy them if you need special orthotic soles to add in. But wow, super white and bright and the fit is just right! I'm completely sold on this style and brand and it'll be top shelf choice from now on.
