This one has a 3 year warranty for 143. Given the fact Ive been buying wally's batteries for over 30 years and have seen the decline, they are for from the deal they used to be. They almost have the planned obsolescence down to FAIL right out of warranty.

Battery quality has declined in the last several years, for a number of reasons. I've gotten to the point where a perform a full digital output/internal resistance check of any new battery, for car or motorcycle, that I purchase. A good number of name brand batteries, brand new, have far less CCA (cold cranking amps at 0-degrees) than their specifications state. This AGM battery, though, for my Dodge Caravan, although rated at 800 CCA, actually tested out at over 1,000 CCA. This is the first time I ever had a battery that exceeded its stated specifications. I am impressed. I was also impressed that this battery arrived by courier without any damage. It was in a foam-lined sturdy box, and the battery was fully intact. Installation was straightforward, and my 11-year old car started with enthusiasm I hadn't fully realized was missing. I would definitely recommend this battery. Not sure how I would utilize the 36 month warranty...shipping the battery back anywhere would be prohibitively expensive...hopefully that won't be necessary
