The protector comes with 2 pads that should be together. Take the tanish one as the base and the black one on top of it. You can create any custom.
Just take out the old old pads and put them down, adding black pads where a tighter fit is needed. A long escort or field training is well worth the investment.
The base layer of the foam padding is approximately 1.5cm thick and the second layer (black) is approximately 0.8cm" thick.
