Great replacement if you want more light than most ceiling lights

Great ceiling light! We used this to replace our can light light above our dining table using a converter for the can light socket and it worked flawlessly. The light is really bright and I got a 6 button remote to switch between scenes when we want. Mostly it's still powered by the switch and works well!
