I bought these for all the girl cousins in our family. The older girls liked the size XL (these girls are all about size 8-10 in womens sizes), and the younger girls liked the size L. So don't hesitate to buy a couple sizes up. Robes aren't very long or thick, but the llama pattern was really cute, and loved by everyone.

bought for my daughter, she is 12 around 140 lbs. i got an xl thinking she could grow into it. well the xl fits her right now. i guess that's okay, it is the cute fox print and it is very soft and shorter than the picture online, but that is okay she is around 5'2.
