Does the job for me.

Great little safe for a small hand gun. I have a snubnose 38 special and it fits the safe snugly and perfectly. I can extract it from the safe quickly and it has enough room to store some 38 caliber bullets. I like the code feature as well as the back up entry. I placed it on a brick wall and secured it with masonry nails. Assuring the safe cannot be removed without a prybar thus maintaining child protection. I like the little unit it works for me perfectly without it being an intrusion on the room decor. I am happy with it and recommend it. It is way better than leaving your hand gun exposed.

Heavy Duty!

This pistol box is perfect for a spot in your home to safely hide a small gun. The combination is very easy to reprogram and the buttons are big enough to see and feel in the dark. The actual measurement of the door is 7 1/2" W X 4 1/2" H. I originally ordered two of the "small" boxes, but had to order the next size up (medium) for my .38 to fit. The box is very well made and heavy duty.
