My Mother in Law asked for a heated blanket after losing her cord to a very old (yucky) heated blanket. I went online and found this one that fit every single need for her including being able to curl up on the couch, throw it on her bed, wear it, put it in the washer and a timer to auto shut off.. It was also extremely SOFT.. The price was very good for this product wish I would have ordered one for me..
