Ignition Lock Cylinder - Compatible with 1992 - 2002 Cadillac Eldorado 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001

Product is a direct replacement just as described. Installed it in our 1994 Cadillac Seville, and didn't feel like paying the dealership $50 for a key with a resistor in it so I went through my electronics components and found a resistor within 10% of the one in the VATS key and instead of removing the old wires from the harness, I soldered the resistor between them heat shrinked it and tucked it back under dash. Now the keys that came with the ignition are the ignition keys and we didn't have to pay $50 for a .05 cent key. I would recommend this ignition for anyone that has to replace one, it was a good value, a quality part, and came exactly as described.
