- QUIET & EFFICIENT: The Cascade 100 Power Hang-On Filter quietly delivers crystal clear water throughout the aquarium. This filter pushes water at 100 Gallons per Hour (GPH) for tanks up to 20 Gallons in size. It’s great for Freshwater and Saltwater aquariums.
- ACCOMMODATING: The adjustable flow knob allows for increased or decreased water flow at will, which is extremely helpful during feeding times, or use it as needed. The hang-on design is constructed for safe mounting. The lift tube is adjustable.
- EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL: This Cascade filter utilizes disposable, double-sided media cartridges that contain Activated Carbon and Poly Fiber Floss. The included cartridge traps floating particulate matter, removes harmful chemicals and toxins, clears up discolorations, and reduces foul odors from your aquarium’s water.

This is a very quiet self-priming filter. It doesn't throw the fish around the tank because of the quad piece hanging over the waterfall. I changed the media to make it more economical to run. I replaced the biosponge with a 30 PPI sponge. Then turned the sponge holder around to hold a cut to fit media pad. Charcoal is not necessary, but there are charcoal infused media pads available if you want it. The cartridge can be rebuilt by adding loose charcoal and sewing a media pad to it.

My kiddos wanted a fish tank. We decided onna 20 gallon. Set the tank up and have had it cucke. These filters keep our tank running smoothly and havent had any complaints. We are over a year with using this product. A
