Cute & Inspiring

I like the story of the book because anyone would be able to relate to it in real life. It's a story about a girl meets a cute boy, develop a crush on him, then tries to do everything to get notice and change. I think the author, Todd Strasser, sends out a good message to the readers, that anyone can change and that anything is possible. I like how when Bo liked Kyle, she tried to change her image from a wallflower to a more positive image. She lost weight and changed her hairstyle which brought out her inner-confidence and assertiveness. At the end of the book, I really like what the author says, "Life is mysterious, who knows why we fall in love with who we fall in love with, or what we can and can't do if we put our minds to it. If I've learned one thing from all this, it's never to put limits on myself again. You have to try new things. You can hate failure, but musn't let the fear of it paralyze you." If you don't like soemthing, change it. If you can't change it, change your perspective. Don't be scared of the unknown, do things you've never done before 'cus you'll never know unless you try. (:
