Although a little messy as the pouches do have oils they are inside a ziplock bag inside the packaging so it isnt leaking out. Very strong smell but plesant and not chemically more like eucalytus and other natural scents mixed together due to essential oils. I have a big problem with ants both all over the back lawn and entering the house and this chased them away quickly
