Not quite the same as the original Romane Musk
Note that while this is NOT the same as the old Romane Musk (picture below) that I had in the 1970's, it's "similar". The smell has a bit more of a "baby powder" aroma to it than the original Romane Musk and maybe a little "sweeter" than the original, but since you can no longer purchase the original Romane Musk, I guess this is probably about as close as you could get. I spoke to Tru Western customer service (yes, they're no longer Romane, but Tru Western), and she said that after doing some inquiries, it seems they changed one ingredient so that's probably why it doesn't smell quite the same as the old Romane Musk. It's close, but if you're expecting the EXACT same smell as the original, you might be disappointed.
