I thought this would look nice and maybe help a little, but it's helped a lot. The kids are always asking “what's for dinner?” or “what are we doing today?” Now we can direct them to the calendar so they can find out whenever they want! This calendar lets us see the full week in a way that actually makes sense. It's like we finally all have the same mental checklist. Tasks are a great way to remind the kids of their chores and the wife and I also use it to keep healthy habits and the rewards and star system keeps us motivated. We also love how fast the display updates and that it doesn't look cluttered even when we have a lot of events loaded.

We've only had this for a few days, but it's already changing the vibe in our house. My mornings used to start with me scrambling, barking out reminders while packing lunches and trying to leave on time. Now I wake up and glance at the calendar, and everyone else does too. No more asking me what time practice is or if they have an early dismissal. I like that the design is super minimal and the UI feels familiar, not clunky or complicated.
