2006 Buick Rainier front drivers side CV axle & bearing asm. replacement

I suspect the actual problem was the wheel bearing but at 157K I decided to go ahead and replace the CV shaft and the bearing assembly. It took some effort to get the new CV shaft fully seated on the spline but once that happened all is AOK!
