Not the Same

I don't normally write reviews but I thought I'd weigh in on this one. The new shirts are different. They're lighter and transport sweat better and for that I think they're great but they aren't as soft. However, I think many of us wear the original shirts as a lifestyle shirt, not for strenuous workouts and I think that's the issue. Personally, I'd like you to keep both. Make the logo on the old ones a little smaller and sell them beside the new chinos, which I love. (I have 7 pairs of them.) I honestly think there's room for both. I'm only giving the shirts four stars because they aren't as soft and the fact that the name wasn't changed is a bit misleading, even if unintentional.

This style of shirt has a different style number and different fundamentals from other Charged Cotton shirts. As you can see in the product description Polyester was added to help those using this shirt for training purposes stay dry and cool during their workouts. If you are looking for a shirt that is similar to the feel of an older Charged Cotton shirt we would suggest checking out the Tactical version below. We are constantly innovating and updated our gear and those changes will always be listed in the product description for your review. However, we definitely hear your feedback and it will be passed along to our Teammates! If you still have questions or would like help finding a certain type of gear, you can reach a Teammate by phone at 888.727.6687.

not as good as last generation of shirts

these shirts are good. they do wick the moisture away quicker than the last generation which was 95% cotton. I do prefer the 95% cotton ones over this new style though. I wish UA would have kept making them the same as before. If I had it my way, they would go back to the 95% cotton and quit with these ones. I much prefer the old shirts to the new ones. Ill wear out all my old

Loose Fit is now Baggy Fit

This was my go to t-shirt but no more. I have a closet full of these shirts but the last several that I picked up have a much fuller cut then my previous ones. I'm 6' 195# and I have been buying larges for years. There is always a small variation in the fit but nothing like the last several that I picked up. I actually measured the older style and the newer style by laying the shirts flat and measuring from seam to seam. The shoulder has the same width on both however the newer is 1.5" wider (3" total) in the mid section. I'm not sure when UA changed the cut of this shirt but on me they have gone from Loose fit to Baggy fit. I'm sure there was some market analysis done where if they increased the width of the shirts they could sell to a broader market with more girth. The baggy fit is not comfortable or attractive IMO so needless to say I'm looking for a new go to t-shirt!
