I was curious to see how these did with heat and they protect my table beautifully! I was concerned after my kids spilled spaghetti sauce in it that they would be stained. I washed them well with Dawn and the looked all stained. The next day the stains had vanished. I'm super thrilled with the quality of these! They look great with a coaster as well!

Clean and simple. You can use both sides. Slightly textured so it doesn't look cheap No bad smell like plastics sometimes have. It looks fine on top of my expensive Waterford tablecloth and protects the table from hard or hot plates and drips for family meals. I wouldn't use it for very formal occasions like a wedding or very fancy dinner. Would also be good on an outdoor table. Very versatile. I got the off-white or natural ivory color.
