Freewheel removal side stripped on first use.

I ended up needing a freewheel removal tool, and a two-in-one sounded better than just a one. This arrived promptly and I attempted to remove my freewheel. The freewheel was on there pretty good, and this thing promptly stripped under pressure. I'll assume the cassette removal side still works ok. Also, the rest of the kit probably work fine, as well. Note: The freewheel doesn't seem well designed to begin with. The ridges needed on the tool are too shallow. I'm going to assume that maybe this is why everyone moved to cassettes? Anyway, before I took a sledgehammer to everything, I figured out how to remove the freewheel without a tool. As long as you don't need to reuse the freewheel, it wasn't that hard at all.* You just remove the outer ring and remove the gears, and then clamp some vice-grip pliers to it and clamp them down real hard. Then turn counterclockwise. So, if you only need the freewheel off, skip this and order some good vice-grip pliers. *I can't imagine many instances where you need to reuse an old freewheel, but I guess it could happen. If you do need to reuse it, then I wouldn't recommend the vice-grip pliers.
