The book is bursting with background information and technical data, as well as how vehicles are being employed by the U.S. Army in Iraq. The text also highlights the special modifications made to vehicles in-theatre. An example of this is the Add-on Armor Suite (closely resembling the slat armor found on Strykers) fitted to the M113. The book contains four color plates by Laurent Lecocq, as well as two 1/35 scale plans. This book is insightful, and gives a very up-to-date study of current US Army vehicles in Iraq. Photos are of a high quality, and mostly show vehicles in action with their crews. In terms of depth and variety of coverage, this book is simply unbeatable!
