Guitarist Kevin Schaelling earned his M.M.E. from the University of North Texas, and his B.M. in guitar from Utah State University. He is currently the guitar instructor at Tarrant County College, located in Arlington, Texas, and principle guitar instructor/owner of Schaelling Music Studios located in Flower Mound, Texas. Kevin discovered the Art of Flamenco while living in Texas and was mesmerized by the intricate rhythms,technique,and passion of this style of music. Soon he began to blend these sounds and techniques with other styles of music. Kevin's songs emanate the sound of three/four part flamenco guitar work, infectious melody and rhythm, heavy Latin percussion, and a touch of jazz. Great news, Kevin has recently landed an endorsement with Cordoba Guitars (Gypsy Kings)and looks forward to working with a great guitar company. Kevin also endorses Yamaha flamenco guitars.
