I thought this would be like a teapot I could use on the stove top. I did not know that it was going to be part plastic. There was no brochure or item at all with it to let me know, or if dishwasher safe. Guess I'll just take my chances. Otherwise, if using off stove top, I like it.

Very nice, but not for me...
A very nice, modernistic teapot for someone who wants to brew at least 4 cups at a time as the infuser doesn't reach far enough down to accommodate less water than that. It doesn't work for me mostly because it has plastic around the bottom of the pot, and I was wanting a pot I could set on top of my wood stove to keep the tea warm. I will probably just give this one to someone, as I've already thrown away the box it came in and the receipt, and order another that will suit my needs.
