The first one I received was a full size topper (instead of a twin, the size I ordered), but I was able to return it to my local store, which is a big plus since it wouldn't fit in the original box once opened. Once that issue was resolved I was very happy with my purchase. I particularly desired a firm topper, which is hard to find, and this one did not disappoint. I am not a large person, I just like a firm bed. It is perfectly firm without being too hard; plus the cover zips off for washing and is very nice! Overall, I give it an A .

My husband prefers a bed equivalent to sleeping on concrete. I've conceded up to this point but over the last year have developed severe lumbar pain at night making sleep impossible. I scoured the internet and have tried and returned four other mattress toppers. All of them failed in that the foam is too giving and you just sink into a hole and wake yourself up trying to get out of it or move around. Not with this topper!!!! It has a little give, just enough to provide comfort to pressure points but is firm enough to support skeletal alignment. I noticed a slight smell upon opening (as I have with all toppers) but that disappeared within a few hours. The topper expanded to full volume in about an hour and fit my queen mattress corner to corner perfectly. It stayed in place with the corner straps without issue and my sheets fit over my existing mattress and this topper easily. i finally had a night with no lumbar back pain! I sleep hot, literally everything makes me hot so I can't tell you if this mattress topper holds body heat. I can tell you that my husband didn't want it, I thought he'd be the first to complain if it smelled or was too soft but he didn't have any complaints! You can stop searching! This is a great topper!
