Most k-cups struggle to produce a flavorful 12 oz cup of coffee. I typically brewed 8 oz because larger sizes, like 10 or 12 oz, often resulted in a watery brew, when using my usual Kona K-Cups from Walmart. For me, Maud's Kona K-cups were too strong for an 8 oz cup. They were slightly ashy at 8 oz but perfect for a 12 oz cup, offering plenty of flavor. I now only brew one 12 oz cup, rather than 2 8oz cups. Saves money and tastes better. Looking forward to trying other flavors.

I bought Maud's Medium Roast Coffee Pods because they were on sale, and didn't have much expectation for the product, as I prefer a stronger coffee to get me going most mornings. To my surprise, though, I found this coffee to be very tasty, and it actually perked me up in the mornings just like my preferred stronger roasts! I also like to use Maud's Medium Roast Coffee Pods when I have time in the mornings to sit around in a leisurely manner, reading the Sunday papers and conversing with my wife and children. I would highly recommend this blend for people who like a balanced blend of mild yet bold coffee.
