work well but need a design revision

These work great and for that I would give then 5 stars but, why on earth can't you put the outlet on the bottom. They already stick out from the wall and them you add the inch and a half for the plug and a little space for the cord so it is not pinched and then the furniture/cabinet sticks way out from the wall.
